Shipping Costs

There is no point adding items to your shopping cart, only to find out after you click 'order' the postage costs are huge. Unlike most other online stores we give our postage costs upfront, in a simple to understand format. Where available* we offer three levels of service; basic, tracked and tracked and signed.

Geocache Land strongly recommend using a tracked service with every order.

We now ship orders daily from Monday to Friday. If orders are placed before 12.30pm we will normally ship the same day^

Once your order ships, normal expected delivery time in the UK is 3-5 days.  For overseas destinations you can expect delivery within 28 days. Customs delays are rare but possible to any overseas destination. The up most care is taken to label your shipment accurately to allow fast processing through international borders. We strongly recommend all customers use a tracked shipping option as these options also include insurance for your order.

These fees cover postage, packing, labour and other costs. Weight includes contents and packaging.

All our packaging is new and on average our boxes are made from a minimum of 75% recycled fibres.

All our packaging in 100% recyclable.

We also offer collect in person from our base or from events we are attending. Please use the contact form to arrange collection in person and provide a contact telephone number with your order.

*Not all countries offer a tracked or tracked and signed deliver service. You will be given the choice of services available to you in your country at checkout. In the case of free world wide delivery, the most secure delivery service to your country will be chosen for you.

^Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or on Scottish public holidays will be posted on the next working day. Orders placed before 1230hrs will normally be shipped the same day. This is not a guaranteed service and can be affected by weather, staff holidays, attendance at events or other factors.
^^ Special Delivery: Next day delivery means delivery before 1pm the day after dispatch Monday to Friday. Special delivery orders received before 1000hrs GMT will normally be dispatched the same day. Orders received from Monday to Thursday after 1000hrs will be dispatched within 24hrs of order whenever possible. Orders placed after 1000hrs GMT on a Friday will be dispatched the next working day. 

We only post by Royal Mail.

Tracking

If you chose a tracked shipping option you will receive a tracking number when your item is shipped. You can track your item via the Royal Mail website (click here for link).

Returns

If unfortunately you need to return an item please contact us via our contact form first or by email. Please do not use Facebook messaging as we may not receive your message.

Once the item(s) have been returned, we will issue a refund or send a replacement. If any item is found to be faulty on return we will also refund the cost of your return postage. All items must be returned by a tracked and recorded delivery service.

Damaged Packages / Missing Items

Unfortunately packages can get damaged in the post and on very rare occasions items can go missing.

When receiving your package please check carefully for any damage to the package. If it looks like any item may be missing refuse to sign and do not take the package. If there is damage to the packaging but it looks like nothing will be missing, accept the package and please photograph the damage (including address label) before opening. If on opening items are found to be missing or damaged please photograph the contents as found in the package showing the damage.

We never reseal packages before sending them. If your package has been resealed you must refuse to accept it and do not sign for it (unless marked as opened by official customs/ duty agencies).

In all cases please contact Geocache Land as soon as possible so we can deal with the problem.  

Geocache Land are not responsible for any item that is returned as "uncollected". Any item received back due to non-collection will be checked and if all items are in the same condition they left Geocache Land a refund will be made. This refund does not include any shipping fees and will be at a rate of 75% of the original sale price to cover the additional costs. 

Geocache Land cannot accept responsibility for any item posted without tracking. By choosing a delivery service without tracking you are accepting full responsibility for the posted items from the point they are dispatched. You agree that you have no claim against Geocache Land if the items go missing or are damaged before delivery.
