Following many conversations with customers and other geocachers we found that there was a need for a reliable strong magnetic key safe. People told us they wanted:

• A geocache that did not become brittle in cold weather
• Strong, reliable magnets that will not fall off
• Water proof
• A lid that will not get lost
• Clearly identifiable as a geocache
• Big enough to hold Travel Bugs and small swaps but small enough to hide

Having research the market we did not find one geocache that met all the requirements, so we made our own!

This cache is:

• Painted metal, so it will not become brittle in cold weather like the plastic versions
• Extra strong N52 Neodymium internal magnets. These are at least twice as strong as any other magnet used in this type of cache and cannot fall off
• Shower proof. Even when held underwater for 5 minutes only a little water leaked in. To add extra assurance we now include a Rite-In-The-Rain waterproof log book
•  Being a cam shell design the lid is attached and cannot fall off.
• Clearly identifiable with a geocache label 
• Sized to hold a Travel bug with ease.
